Training programme in the hotel industry with subsequent placement throughout the country. The training programme lasts 9 months and includes

• Personal development, general education and English
• 6 months training in one of the specialist areas: Housekeeping, Waitering, Front Office or Culinary Arts
• 3 months work experience with hospitality partners in Nyamasheke and other districts

We work hand in hand with Rwandan NGOs and the Rwandan government, as well as with hotel schools and hotels throughout the country.Total cost per sponsorship: CHF 1500.

Sharing is caring – we are bringing together Rwandan and Swiss hotel expertise and starting a long-term and complementary collaboration. We, the Sangira Association, also offer English courses with a focus on the hotel industry. Sangira’s hotel training programme gives young people the chance of vocational training and new prospects for their future. Nothing stands in the way of a career – Rwanda needs more hotel staff.
