Mission & Vision

The Sangira Association is made up of dedicated professionals who volunteer their time and expertise free of charge.

Our mission is to provide Rwandans with solid, professional vocational training for a better future. We will give priority to training women, as they have the most difficult conditions. By providing vocational training and opening career opportunities, we will help to ensure that families can be fed in the short term and that their livelihoods are greatly improved.

Sangira is a joint project between Rwandans and Swiss. We want to promote education in Nyamasheke and thus create prospects in the region. The goal is to demonstrate the positive impact of vocational training through apprenticeship and raise its acceptance in the community. The construction of the eco-lodge-hotel school combined with the provision of relevant vocational training makes that goal come closer.

Values

  • Transparency: We offer a clear and comprehensible path of funding and its resulting impact.
  • Reliability: We are always there for our projects and the beneficiaries.
  • Commitment: We make a full commitment to Sangira.
  • Empowerment: The impact of the projects generates community upliftment and opportunity building in education for non-privileged Rwandans.
